The Bhagavad Gita is often referred to as a handbook on how to be a yogi while also navigating oneself in the external world, with all its mess and glory. Written as a conversation between Krishna and Arjuna, Krishna teaches lessons that are applicable for us thousands of years later, in our current times. The poetry of the scripture mixed with the loving patience of Krishna serves as inspiration on the mat, and out in life.

You are invited to join Jeanne Heileman for four, one-hour sessions via Zoom, focused on chosen themes from the Gita. We will read verses, discuss themes and examples on how this ancient text continues to communicate wisdom in our current times. Exploring yoga scriptures brings a balance to the physical yoga practice as we find meaning for your mind and heart. It is the intention that these sessions will serve as support through this challenging year, offering new perspectives and insight to the sacredness of life, no matter what.
