Vibration exists in every living being and thing. These vibrations affect us, even at the subtlest level. This ripples into our mind and energy, into our emotions, actions and our destiny. When we change our internal vibration, we can change our life. The use of Mantra applies the vibration of Sanskrit sounds to the voice and eventually the mind, to change current reverberations helping one reach their greatest possibility. This is a powerful realization that the ancient yogis learned and still practice.
In this workshop, students will learn the skill of Mantra through a variety of techniques. Each method will include information and time for meditation to feel the pulsations. We will end chanting one of the two powerful, unlocked Mantras from the ancient Vedas. It is known that these two Mantras have the magic to bring healing and change one’s karma.
- Practice with a variety of Bijan Mantras to determine the one best for your personal practice
- Feel the power from Mantras used for mediation and concentration
- Acquire the skill of Japa Meditation, the constant repetition of a mantra, and how to use Mala Beads
- Chant the two, magical, and unlocked Mantras from the Vedas which carry vibratory power to change one’s life.
This workshop is accessible to ALL yogis, including those who cannot do asana. Chairs will be available for those who are unable to sit on the floor. Some simple movements will be offered, accessible for most body types. Mala beads are suggested, and not required, for participation.
