Workshop Details

The Bhagavad Gita is often referred to as a handbook teaching one how to be a yogi while also living with the struggles of the physical world. Written as a conversation between Krishna and Arjuna, Krishna teaches lessons that are applicable for us thousands of years later, in our current times. The poetry of the scripture mixed with the loving patience of Krishna serve as inspiration to help us to live through our current challenges.

You are invited to join Jeanne Heileman for three, one-hour sessions, focused on chosen themes from the Gita. This is an effort to bring some balance to the abundance of physical yoga that is currently available with the hope to offer some meaning for your mind and heart.

We will be using the translation from Eknath Easwaran which you are encouraged to use for ease in following the discussions. Any other translation is also welcome.
