Workshop: Making Friends with the Mind

Where: In-person at Yoga Yoga studio in the Santa Clarita Valley ( and Online via ZOOM and On-demand. Once registered for the class, for those joining virtually, you will receive a zoom link confirmation and details a few days prior to the event. All students will have access to the recording for 30 days after the event.

For many of us, our greatest enemy and fear is in our mind. The mind can cut us down, guide us incorrectly, create illusions and delusions, and just get really noisy. We often need to occupy ourselves with outside attractions to combat the mind’s negative tendencies. While the outer attractions seem to quiet the mind, they have only covered up the activities which now continue, just quieter and deeper inward. Whatever we do to try to get away from our mind doesn’t really address the war within.

I am excited to return to Yoga Yoga and share a full yoga practice of Vinyasa Flow asana, Pranayama and Meditation. Our focus – to manage the mind and make friends with it, regardless of what it is doing or saying. Through the practice I will offer information about how the mind works and techniques to meet its tendencies and dismantle any negativity. You will leave with greater insight on how to live with your mind and how to tame it when it tries to control you. The spiritual warrior is one who has control of their mind regardless of life’s challenges.
